about

We look at the struggles people have, whether it be addiction, depression, or other nightmarish areas of the human experience. When one is immersed in the thing they love, (whether it be music, art, etc.) they are safe. Safe from sorrow, mental intrusions, life – if only for a moment. If we could just keep people in the song, in the moment, in the place where they are happiest, perhaps we wouldn’t lose them.

lyrics

Little boy blue you don't know what to do
It’s the same old story there’s nothing new
No comfort in(n) the confines of your mind
There’s a stranger here; she’s not our kind

Try to keep you in the safehouse of a song
Where it’s always safe and you belong
Try to keep you in the safehouse of a song
Where it’s always safe and you belong

Crying wolf again you’re howling at the moon
I’ll come running to your same old tune
You say you only live when you feel the pain
But those angry voices drive you insane

Try to keep you in the safehouse of a song
Where its always safe and you belong
Try to keep you in the safehouse of the song
Where it’s always safe and you belong

Keep you in
I can’t keep you in
